The holidays can be difficult for many of us. From stress about your social engagements to holiday party host responsibilities, all those traveling plans and conflicts, the holidays can be stressful for our bodies.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) wants to remind us all of a few tips to keep in mind around the holidays.
Do as the song says — have a plan in place before heading out. If you are traveling to one of the holiday festivities, make sure you know who to bring with you and how to get to those destinations. The CDC also recommends having a safety kit in the car with water, extra clothing, spare food, cell phone chargers, first aid supplies, a map of the destination and key safety items.
Try some familiar songs to give your body a break. And don’t drink and drive.
