Royal Caribbean International announced Wednesday that it will soon launch nine-month global tour through popular tourist destinations in New York, Venice, Rome, Cape Town, and more.
The cruise liner’s ships are currently undergoing renovations and will be ready for the holiday cruises in July and August of 2019. The nine-month world cruise will be a very hot ticket, according to Jenny Stedman, market associate at Travel Trade Magazine, calling it “the Dreaming Of Project Sunshine.”
“They’ve been so successful with that word-of-mouth marketing about the itineraries and exploring the world for lots of different places,” Stedman said. “They start off by going to Peru and then they go on down to Malaysia or Thailand or Vietnam. It’s a world tour and it’s just a very interesting cruise. I think this is just the next big move.”
The cruise ship previously announced its 12-month Rome, Malibu, Rio, Nassau, and Peru trip which is sold out and considered to be one of the top 30 cruises in the world. The celebration is set to take place on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas from July 9 to October 1, 2022, celebrating the island of Hawaii.
